A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Northwest region requested a TankCam inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held regular diesel.

The TankCam inspection revealed puddles of what appeared to be water on the tank bottom. The lower half of the tank was obscured by a build-up of sludge. All metallic components inside the tank showed corrosion and tuberculation. The inspection also showed several drips from the top of the tank, but the exact origin of the ingress was unclear.
