A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Midwest region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 8,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held diesel.

The TankCam inspection showed debris on the tank bottom. The tank contained product that completely obscured the tank bottom. Flaking was found along a side seam on the tank wall while corrosion was seen at a fill bung. Several patches were found on the inside of the tank and condensation was found on the tank top.
