A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Midwest region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon fiberglass tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held premium unleaded.

The TankCam inspection showed liquid in the tank which obscured the tank bottom. Through the product, sludge, sediment, and debris could be seen on the tank bottom and liquid was seen dripping from multiple bungs. Tanknology recommended a TankClean Remote Video UST Cleaning System and full removal of the liquid in the tank.

The TankCam inspection showed sludge covering the lower half of the tank and water standing in puddles inside the sludge. Metallic components inside the tank exhibited corrosion and tuberculation and several water drips were seen falling from the top of the tank

The TankCam inspection revealed oxidation and corrosion throughout the tank. Liquid droplets were seen at the top of the tank and small debris was found at the tank bottom.

The TankCam inspection revealed discoloration and residue throughout the tank. Residue and sludge was found on the tank bottom and several areas of exposed fibers were found inside the tank. Corrosion was also found on the riser bungs.

The TankCam inspection showed a build-up of residue on the bottom of the tank while the tank walls exhibited areas of streaking and staining. Corrosion was found on one of the tank bungs and showed debris on the tank bottom contained pieces of debris.

The TankCam inspection showed that the lower half of the tank was obscured by a build-up of residue, and a possible crack was observed in the lower tank wall on either side of the tank. Debris was also seen on the bottom of the tank.

A fueling facility in Tanknology’s Gulf Coast region requested a TankCam® inspection of a 10,000 gallon, steel tank to inspect for undesirable conditions or abnormal operating conditions. The tank held super unleaded.

The TankCam inspection showed oxidation and minor corrosion in the tank with some corrosion along the tank walls. Sludge, debris and liquid covered the tank bottom and a drip was seen at the STP riser. Moisture was visible on the tank top near the STP riser and two other access points.
