30-Day Walkthrough Inspections

On October 13, 2018, federal regulations regarding underground storage tanks (USTs) came into effect. According to these regulations, all owners and operators of USTs in the US must complete their first 30-day inspection. Since then, Tanknology has performed over 400,000 inspections across all 50 states, covering fueling facilities of various sizes and shapes.

Based on statistics, almost 90% of the sites inspected by Tanknology have minor issues. Most of these issues are minor, such as a liquid in a spill bucket. However, sometimes the issues are more severe, such as corrosion in a sump or piping failures.

The inspection program has helped in maintaining operational compliance and creating a cleaner environment. It is proactive facility maintenance at its best.

Many of our customers have taken advantage of our periodic inspection services to go beyond the EPA’s requirements and inspect other critical aspects of their site operations. Tanknology has created several inspection packages with popular service combinations, which are highly flexible and can be customized to meet specific needs.

Our program includes a comprehensive, on-demand database with 24/7 access to site information, which enables customers to stay informed of mission-critical business intelligence, streamline corrective action, and analyze trends in operating conditions.
